Roll Off Dispatcher

Royal Waste has an immediate opening for a Roll-Off Dispatcher to join the team at our site in Queens, NY. In this position, you will field calls and emails from our customer service representatives and dispatch drivers based on priority of need. This is a fast‑paced role requiring strong computer skills, excellent communication, multitasking ability, and composure under pressure.

$28.00 - $30.00 Per Hour

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2 years of dispatcher experience in a transportation or logistics environment preferred
• Experience in the transportation industry
• Experience with live dispatch operations and driver coordination
• Experience setting up schedules for drivers
• Familiarity with driver coaching tools such as 3rd Eye, Lytx, and Drive Cam
• Strong typing and data entry skills
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, both oral and written

• Work in conjunction with other departments to resolve customer disputes and demonstrate proficiency in proprietary operational systems
• Analyze and resolve customer inquiries for missed pick‑ups, misplaced containers, and property damage
• Assist drivers when a pickup or delivery is in question before servicing
• Schedule and dispatch work to various employees and departments throughout the day
• Demonstrate effective use of software applications; MS Word and Excel proficiency required
• Deliver services to customers in a manner that promotes goodwill and professionalism
• Work in a high‑volume, cooperative environment with frequent customer interaction
• Solicit sale of new or additional services
