Job Description

• Take full ownership of end-to-end flight preparation and import/export operations, ensuring compliance, and seamless coordination across all critical freight terminal functions.
• Permanent Full-Time opportunity located at Melbourne Freight Terminal
• 7-Day Rotational Roster (including Night shifts)

The Agent Freight Operations is responsible for assisting with the delivery of Imports and the acceptance of Export Freight to customers. If successful – you would deliver total customer satisfaction through the accurate and efficient performance of clerical duties associated with the delivery and acceptance of Import and Export Freight (Domestic and International).

• Previous experience in a logistics, freight or airline environment
• The ability to work a 7-day rotational shift roster including night shifts
• Demonstrated administrative skillset, proficient with the Microsoft Suite
• Previous face-to-face customer service experience and skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Solid computer literacy
• The ability to perform manual handling tasks, with capacity to lift up to 5kg
• Able to thrive both in team settings and when working independently
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to react to changing circumstances with ease
• The ability to obtain a Dangerous Goods Acceptance Certification
• An unrestricted Drivers Licence
• Cleared and met all requirements of an ASIC
