Working in a busy team environment, your new position as a Load Control Officer will see you responsible for planning, coordinating and producing all loading, weight and balance documentation in accordance with Company and Client airline specifications for passenger, cargo and fuel requirements. In this safety critical role, you will ensure the safe distribution of the aircraft load while maximising available cargo space.
You’llhave –
- Ability to work shift work on a 7-day rotating roster
- Knowledge of the Qantas operation
- A high degree of personal organisation, proven ability to prioritise time and workload and self-motivated
- High attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to think analytically and mathematically
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and ability to handle high pressure situations, conflict resolution skills
- Ability to interact constructively and consistently with team members, other departments and external customers, of all levels
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in time frames and environment or circumstances
- Working knowledge of the FM system & Manual Load Plans or willing to undertake this training
- Dangerous Goods Awareness certification or willingness to undertake this training

Qualifications- HSC or equivalent
- Extensive background in an Airport operational environment
- Self motivated and able to work independently
- Good Communication skills
