What you’ll do

We are currently looking for casual General Purpose Hands (GPH), working across a 7 day per week roster, where you will be responsible for a high level of interaction with maritime customers.

As the face of the company, this opportunity will be responsible for assisting with vessel operations while providing a customer service to the passengers on board. This is a hands‑on position, assisting passengers, fulfilling GPH and cleaning duties.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Work under the direction of the Master to maintain a safe and compliant marine operation.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Safe deck line and boarding hardware handling.
• Cleaning of passenger cabin and deck areas in a safe and efficient manner.
• Watch keeping duties as instructed by the Master.
• Passenger ticket validation, passenger assistance and maintain good passenger relations.
• Safety and satisfaction of passengers on board.
• Delivery of on‑board kiosk beverage sales compliant with Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines.

• NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol license.
• AMSA General Purpose Hand Certificate of Competency.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Valid NSW Working with Children’s Check.
