Overview

• Direct incoming customers to available parking spaces.
• Count vehicles on location throughout the shift, as needed.
• Write and issue violation warnings to tenants and visitors that violate garage policies.
• Patrol transient and reserved parking levels on foot or in custom motor carts.
• Provide assistance to customers that have forgotten where they parked their vehicle.
• Maintain consistent attendance, arrive on time and wear uniform.
• Assist customers by answering questions and, if necessary, directing them to the Facility Manager.
• Control traffic at entrances and exits as needed.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of parking equipment and general maintenance tasks as directed.
• Report accidents, suspected violations, safety hazards or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc., to the garage office.
• Substitute for valets when authorized.
• Know all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks and surrounding freeways.
• Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

• Education/
  
  Experience:
  
  Less than high school education or one month related experience, training or equivalent combination.
• License Requirement: Valid state‑issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record if required to drive a company vehicle.
• Availability: Ability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and weekends if applicable.
• Language

  Ability to read, write simple correspondence and effectively present information to customers and employees.
• Mathematical
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide basic numbers and perform operations using American currency.
• Appearance: Must maintain a neat and clean appearance in uniform at all times.
• Physical Demands: Regular standing, walking, hand use; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

$16.50/hr + tips (eligible to earn tips in addition to the posted hourly rate)
