Location: New York
Duties, this list is a general outline and not limited to the below
- Create and issue delivery orders for import and export cargo – both ocean & air
- Follow up with cargo locations for freight availability and last free day
- Confirm with trucker delivery order received
- Communicate with trucker regarding any information related to pick up and delivery
- Communicate with customer and delivery location to ensure problem free delivery
- Follow up to ensure shipments are all picked up timely to avoid storage or additional costs
- When necessary, communicate to customer that delivery was completed
- Update all notes in the system on a timely basis to ensure clear timeline of events
- Make sure all charges are clearly noted for proper billing
Working Hours:
8am – 5pm, Monday thru Friday
