Join our team at Saratoga Bridges, NYSARC, Inc., Saratoga County Chapter.

Our Bus Monitors help passengers get on or off the bus each weekday. Every person has different needs. Some need a friendly face they can talk to. Others need help securing their wheelchair to the bus floor. They keep conversations positive and fun. They ride along with the people we support to their day services in the morning and back home in the afternoon.

If you don't have experience working with people with a developmental disability we provide paid training.

• Assist passengers boarding and disembarking the bus each weekday.
• Provide a friendly and supportive presence for all passengers.
• Secure wheelchairs to the bus floor and ensure safe transfers.
• Maintain positive, calm, and fun conversations while riding along.
• Support passengers heading to day services in the morning and home in the afternoon.

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Passability to help passengers with developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work flexibly full‑time or part‑time.

• Paid training.

Pay rate: $15.50 per hour. (Full‑time rate may vary.)
