DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIESThe Program Coordinator will play a strategic role in filling vacancies across the organization to support Soccer Shots operations in Brooklyn and Manhattan as well as serve as the point person for customer service. In this role, you will interview potential coaches that will be core value fits for our program as well as deliver exceptional customer service to parents through e‑mail and phone.

- Develop, plan, and maintain program seasons including master calendar and registration system.
- Manage the program schedule, cancellations, and rescheduling process, notifying parents and updating Facebook, calendars, and communicating updates with site/facility representatives and parents.
- Collaborate with Coaching Department in scheduling, training, and evaluating initiatives as needed; participate in planning and preparation for seasonal instructor meetings.
- Partner with center directors and create initiatives that drive and increase enrollment at partner sites.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to parents, directors, and partners to improve NPS scores.
- Prior soccer experience is not required; we only require a passion for positively impacting children’s lives.
- Safety‑conscious; #1 priority is the safety of children under their care.
- Caring, engaging with each child through specific and positive affirmation.
- Organized; plans ahead and is systematic in routine, conducting each session according to the lesson plan and maintaining appropriate order group.
- Responsible; committed to doing what is expected of them as the coach and the “face” of Soccer Shots.
- Energetic; bringing Soccer Shots to life by creating a fun and exciting atmosphere that leads a child to smile and participate.
- Coach 15–20 sessions per week per season.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience sports programming, sports administration, coaching, or similar roles.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Proficient in Google Docs and MS Office.
Warm, motivated, and approachable personality.
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
The position is a full‑time, non‑exempt role. Typical expected working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with some nights and weekends. The position will be based in New York City (Brooklyn and Manhattan).
WORKING HOURS / LOCATION / SCHEDULEThe position requires 35–40 hours per week or more depending on business needs. Eligible for overtime pay if weekly hours exceed 40 hours. The weekly agenda will be assigned by the Executive Director.
COMPENSATION$40,000.00 – $42,000.00 per year.
