The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of all Anderson Center for Autism consumers; both in and around the pool.
The pool is scheduled to open Memorial Day.
Pay Range: $18.50 - $22.17;
Based on education and years of experience
- Prevent accidents by ensuring pool rules are followed.
- Maintain proper pool attendance.
- Bather interactions.
- Lifeguard will use whistle and verbal prompt to alert students to comply with pool rules.
- When the student does not comply with this alert, the lifeguard will advise program staff to intervene.
- Monitor and maintain pool chlorine and pH and the cleanliness of pool and surrounding areas.
- Secure pool when closed.
- Must be 16 years of age.
- Water Safety Instructor, First Aid, CPR certifications required.
- Must be a certified Lifeguard.
