Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Oversee the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF) and assist new members in achieving their fitness goals by designing simple workout programs and teaching proper equipment use.

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule.
• Consult members regarding their fitness goals and instruct on correct and safe equipment use.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone® by engaging with members and supporting their journeys while upholding club policies.
• Perform comprehensive walkthroughs of fitness areas to ensure a high member experience, promptly addressing any issues.
• Create bi-weekly updates comprising a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Respond to member questions and concerns promptly, escalating to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Assist front‑desk related activities: answer phones, check members into the system, handle new member sign‑ups, give prospective member tours, and facilitate account updates.
• Maintain club neatness and cleanliness: clean and sanitize equipment and Black Card spa amenities, perform comprehensive walkthroughs, keep restrooms clean and stocked according to the cleaning schedule.

• Previous fitness trainer/instructor experience preferred.
• Nationally certified training certificate required.
• Passion for fitness and health.
• Upbeat and positive attitude.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Exceptional customer service skills; professionally interact with members and co-workers, exceeding expectations.
• Strong listening skills with empathy and problem‑solving ability.
• Diplomacy in all interactions with appropriate behavior and language.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

• Exposure to toxic chemicals during shift.
• Movement involving bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and twisting as needed.
