Since 1994, SPORTIME has been proud to operate the finest tennis and sports facilities in New York State. SPORTIME has 18 facility locations including the iconic Port Washington Tennis Academy, now SPORTIME Port Washington, the largest indoor racket sports facility on Long Island. SPORTIME currently offers 194 indoor and outdoor tennis courts and 70 pickleball courts, as well as rinks, turf, camps, gyms and more, at sites across Long Island, in NYC, in Westchester, in the NY Capital Region and New Jersey.

SPORTIME clubs are state-of-the-art, yet affordable, and feature the best tennis, sports and fitness facilities and programs, including the John McEnroe Tennis Academy and SPORTIME Volleyball Club). SPORTIME clubs serve individuals of every age and athletic ability, 365 days a year.

The Marketing and Brand Manager will play a pivotal role in evolving and advancing the brand presence of Sportime and the John McEnroe Tennis Academy (JMTA) throughout the tri-state area and beyond. This role is ideal for a dynamic marketer and social media manager who is both creative and strategic — someone passionate about tennis, sports, wellness and community engagement. The Manager will translate organizational goals into actionable marketing and social media campaigns that inspire participation, build brand loyalty, and drive revenue growth across SPORTIME clubs and JMTA programs.

Responsibilities

Brand Management

  • Maintain and evolve Sportime’s and JMTA’s brand identity across all marketing and media platforms, and ensure consistency in message, tone and visual standards.
  • Oversee brand guidelines, collateral and templates, to ensure brand values are properly reflected internally and externally.
  • Lead social media strategy and content for certain lines of business within Sportime and JMTA, and focus on storytelling that highlights athletes, coaches and community impact.
  • Partner with site teams to capture authentic content from events, tournaments and training sessions that reinforce brand authenticity and engagement.

Campaign Management

  • Plan, execute and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, and customer acquisition and retention.
  • Manage campaign budgets, timelines and creative resources to deliver high-quality, on-brand materials efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and outside vendors to align messaging and visuals across digital, print and other channels.
  • Track marketing and social media campaign performance, and produce insights-based reports to guide optimization.

Data & Analytics

  • Use analytics tools to monitor campaign KPIs, engagement and ROI.
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies that refine audience segmentation and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with sales teams around analytics info to identify growth opportunities and retention drivers.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Mentor junior marketing staff, and foster a culture of creativity, accountability and collaboration.
  • Act as the liaison between marketing, operations and club management teams to ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Represent Sportime and JMTA around co-marketing partnerships, sponsor ships and media relationships.

Market & Competitive Analysis

  • Research industry trends in tennis, sports, fitness and youth development, and identify opportunities to enhance brand differentiation.
  • Use insights to inform marketing strategies, content development and participation growth initiatives.
Qualifications
  • 4–6 years of experience in marketing, brand management, and/or communications, preferably in the sports, fitness or recreation industry; experience playing competitive tennis and/or coaching tennis is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, and campaign execution across marketing and media channels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with marketing analytics tools and data-driven reporting.
  • Excellent writing, communication, presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Experience with creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
