About Us:

Sportball is looking for enthusiastic and sports-oriented individuals to join our coaching team. We are a non-competitive sports program dedicated to introducing children aged 16 months to 12 years to eight different sports, including soccer, hockey, basketball, baseball, football, volleyball, tennis, and golf.

Job Description:

We invite passionate individuals with a sports background to join our coaching team. While an educational background in kinesiology, early childhood education, recreation management, physical education, or personal training is beneficial, it is not required. Sportball coaches undergo extensive initial and ongoing training in our methodology and practices.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver Sportball programs as per training and curriculum

• Increase the number of registrants in programs and manage relationships with partners and staff members

• Enhance our reputation for excellence with partners

• Support the program director with communicative and administrative responsibilities

• Demonstrate consistency in eagerness, accountability, organization, and professionalism

Requirements Prior to Training:

• 1-2 years of teaching experience with kids ages 2-12

• Strong communication skills (written and oral)

• Current physical (form will be provided)

• 3 professional reference letters from previous employers

Compensation:

• Paid training (minimum of 25 hours) at $16 per hour

• Instructional pay ranging from $25 to $35 per hour

• Paid holidays

• Part-time flexible hours (8-10 hours weekly)
