As a Lead Software Engineer within Security Services, you will play a pivotal role in an agile team, enhancing, building, and delivering trusted, market‑leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. You will be responsible for developing innovative software solutions, driving technical excellence, and ensuring alignment with business goals. This role offers an opportunity to push the boundaries of technology and contribute to critical solutions across multiple technical areas.

• Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting, thinking beyond routine approaches to build solutions or resolve technical problems.
• Develop secure, high‑quality production code and review/debug code written by others.
• Set up and manage Proofs of Concept (POCs) to evaluate new technologies and methodologies.
• Drive adoption of best practices in software development and AI integration, ensuring high standards of quality, security, and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Lead technical designs and collaborate with geographically distributed analysts and developers.
• Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Contribute to a team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect.

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands‑on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficient in coding in one or more object‑oriented languages, including Java 17+ with Spring Boot.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Experience building enterprise applications with high availability and performance using Java, Spring, Kafka, EKS, and Distributed Cache.
• Strong hands‑on experience designing and building solutions on AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, ELB, ECS, and EKS.

• Keen interest in staying ahead of modern development trends and experimenting with emerging technologies such as AI and Machine Learning.
• Hands‑on experience with Microservices, Data usage patterns, and Event‑Driven Architecture (EDA).
• Knowledge of cloud architecture and ability to capture and share best‑practice knowledge across teams.
• Ability to back decisions with research and articulate several options with pros and cons.

Pay Range: $70- $80
