Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer

Hybrid – San Francisco or New York (minimum 3 days onsite)(Visa sponsorship not available)

We’re looking for experienced Infrastructure Software Engineers to help scale a rapidly growing, AI-powered healthcare platform trusted by leading systems including Kaiser Permanente, Mayo Clinic and Common Spirit Health.

This is an 80% software, 20% cloud infrastructure role focused on distributed systems, performance and scalability. You’ll work across teams to remove bottlenecks, improve resilience and help re-architect applications onto more scalable, cloud-native infrastructure.

• 5 - 10 years of experience as a backend software engineer focused on distributed systems or tooling, with an interest in engineering enablement and software scaling, with at least 2 years
• Experience as a back-end engineer focused on system performance and scalability.
• Backend engineers who have worked on distributed systems and observability (migrating production systems, improving database performances, contributed to application layer) at big tech/hypergrowth startups.
• Software engineers that understand Infra and have worked on scalability from an application level.
• Experience improving application-level systems for reliability and scalability.

• Implement load testing and chaos engineering to improve reliability
• Identify and fix performance and latency issues at the code level
• Rehome applications onto scalable runtimes and event-driven architectures
• Define SLOs, improve observability and strengthen incident response
• Build internal tools that improve developer velocity
