Lead Java Developer

We have a urgent positions for a Lead Java Developer with AWS and Financial Background in investment .They need candidates who are strong with Java and AWS and Local to NY/NJ

Rate: $70/hr – $75/hr on 1099

Visa Requirement: USC only

We are hiring an experienced Java Developer to support Alternative Investment products within a Brokerage Record-Keeping Technology organization s role focuses on building and supporting cloud-based, distributed applications using AWS and Java APIs that serve business partners across OSG, Retail, and Fixed Income.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial or investment systems
, along with hands‑on experience in modern cloud and Dev Ops environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications using Java and AWS
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices supporting brokerage and alternative investment platforms
• Collaborate with product owners and technical leads to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions
• Participate in application design, development, testing, deployment, and production support
• Work with relational databases (Oracle) including schema design and complex SQL queries
• Support CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices in a distributed cloud environment
• Ensure application reliability, performance, and scalability through monitoring and best practices

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Strong experience with AWS services and cloud-based application development
• Experience building Microservices and RESTful APIs
• Solid understanding of Oracle or other relational databases
• Background in financial services, investments, or brokerage systems
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Git Hub
• Familiarity with Dev Ops and cloud infrastructure concepts

• Experience with Angular or other UI technologies
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and EKS
• Monitoring and logging experience with tools like Splunk and Datadog
• Experience with Artifactory or similar artifact management tools
