We’re looking for a Dev Ops & Platform Engineer to take ownership of our cloud infrastructure, observability, and developer tooling. You’ll be the force behind our platform’s scalability, reliability, and security—ensuring our engineering team can ship quickly and safely.

This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, developer experience, and backend systems. You’ll work closely with our backend, security, and product teams, and occasionally contribute directly to feature development.

Our stack:
Google Cloud, Postgre

SQL, Terraform, Kotlin, Type Script / React, Python.

This role will be in-person in New York or Toronto.

What you’ll do

• Own and improve our GCP infrastructure (Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, Cloud Run, Big Query, IAM)
• Improve platform security, observability and reliability
• Tackle tricky backend optimization and Postgres performance questions
• Own and improve our CI/CD pipelines (faster builds, parallelized tests, incremental compilation)
• Improve Intelli
  
  J/Detekt setup and build a common dotfiles repo
• Create and maintain our devtooling Dockerfiles
• When capacity allows, contribute to the product backlog

Who you are

• 4+ years of experience in Dev Ops, platform engineering, or backend infrastructure roles
• Deep experience with GCP, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, Sentry, tracing, monitoring best practices)
• Hands‑on experience improving security in cloud platforms
• Comfortable writing backend code
• Familiar with Postgres tuning and optimization
