Senior BackEnd Software Engineer NYC Hybrid

Our company is a social sports prediction platform poised to shake up the world of sports. We have seen immense growth in user activity and positive feedback, resulting in an expansion of the team. We are based in New York City with offices in downtown Manhattan, and the role is a hybrid 3x per week position.

We’re looking to add a key engineering hire to our very lean team. We are seeking an individual who’s excited to work closely with the founding team to develop, own, and scale the core product. As a Software Engineer, you’ll have end-to-end responsibility across the stack, significant product input, and the opportunity to shape both the technical architecture and the company from day one.

• Own projects from inception to production, including architecture decisions, implementation, and observability
• Collaborate directly with cross-business functions and leadership on product direction, roadmap, and prioritization

• Strong backend skill set:
  Node, Typescript (Even Python or Go will work given the right experience)
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks for web and mobile (React and React Native)
• 3–6+ years of experience as a software engineer
• A background in developing low-latency systems or performance-sensitive applications is a plus
• Thrive in startup environments — you’re entrepreneurial, resourceful, and get energy from building things that users love

• A computer science degree from a top university is a huge plus

• A background or interest in sports, trading, predictions, or crypto is a plus

Compensation: $250,000 per year
