Sr. Quality Engineer​/Mobile QE

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer/ Mobile QE for a Contract with a client in New York, NY
. Candidates must demonstrate strong mobile testing expertise and automation proficiency, along with practical AI‑driven testing skills, to qualify for this position.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $47/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

• Design, execute, and maintain functional and automated tests across iOS and Android apps using tools such as Appium, Katalon, Selendroid, and Monkey Talk.
• Develop scalable, reusable automation scripts and contribute to UI automation frameworks built on Espresso (Android) and XCUITest (iOS).
• Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines, perform API testing, and analyze logs using debugging tools such as Charles Proxy, Splunk, or Sentry.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Development teams to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Identify, document, and track defects while partnering with development teams to ensure timely resolution and high‑quality releases.
• Enhance overall QA delivery by improving processes, defining test strategies, participating in regression cycles, and promoting best practices—including the use of AI within testing workflows.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 3+ years of hands‑on mobile automation testing experience across iOS and Android platforms.
• Must have strong proficiency with mobile automation tools (Appium, Katalon, Selendroid, Monkey Talk) and solid programming/debugging skills in Swift, Kotlin, or similar languages.
• Must demonstrate practical AI testing exposure and the ability to uplift teams through strong communication, collaboration, and technical leadership.
