Senior Software Engineer

🚀 About the Role

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer (Backend / Cloud) to build and scale enterprise-grade, cloud-native backend systems. This role focuses on designing high-performance, reliable, and scalable production systems while collaborating closely with product and infrastructure teams.

This position requires regular on-site presence in New York.

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience with FastAPI (highly preferred)
• Deep understanding of REST APIs & distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Docker & Kubernetes (production environment)
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization)
• Experience working in Azure environments (AKS, App Services, CI/CD)
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Proven track record of building scalable, production-grade systems
• Strong backend architecture mindset
• Excellent communication skills with ownership mentality
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site environment
• Design and develop API-first backend services
• Architect and scale high-availability production systems
• Write clean, modular, and maintainable code
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions balancing speed and scalability
• Deploy and manage services in cloud-based, containerized environments
• Own systems end-to-end in production
