Job DescriptionRole Overview
We are looking for a strong Full Stack Engineer to support the development of enterprise-grade, cloud-native web applications on AWS.
This role is part of a long-term initiative and offers the opportunity to work on complex, data-driven platforms used across the organization.
The position requires a balanced skill set with approximately 40% frontend and 60% backend responsibilities, along with deep hands-on experience in AWS services, API development, and modern frontend frameworks.
Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain enterprise web applications with a frontend and backend focus
- Develop user interfaces using Angular (current applications) and React (new development)
- Build and maintain REST and Graph
QL APIs on AWS - Develop backend services using Python, AWS Lambda, and containerized microservices (ECS/EKS)
- Integrate and manage data across Aurora, Neptune, S3, and Glue Data Catalog
- Implement event-driven architectures using SQS and SNS
- Apply secure access and data governance patterns using IAM and Lake Formation
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Support and improve CI/CD and Dev Ops pipelines
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Architecture, and Data Engineering teams
- Participate in technical and coding interviews with a strong emphasis on hands-on skills
- Strong full stack engineering experience in enterprise web applications
- Frontend experience with Angular (preferred) and/or React, including Type Script
- Hands-on experience building APIs using AWS Lambda, ECS, or EKS
- Solid experience with AWS services including S3, Aurora, Neptune, SQS, SNS, and Glue Data Catalog
- Experience implementing security and access controls using IAM and Lake Formation
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience building or contributing to data portals, data catalogs, or internal platform applications
- Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Experience with AWS Data Zone or metadata-driven platforms
- Strong Dev Ops or platform engineering background, including CI/CD automation
- React, Python, AWS, and Terraform fundamentals
- Backend engineering using Python and AWS services (Lambda, ECS, EKS)
- Frontend engineering with Angular, React, and Type Script
- AWS data, messaging, and security services
- Experience with data portals, catalogs, or internal platforms (preferred)
