Senior Software Engineer – C# ​/.NET

Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a fast-growing financial services SaaS company building mission-critical platforms that support small and mid-sized businesses across the U.S. This is a full-time, fully remote role working U.S. Eastern Time hours. The position sits within a product engineering organization focused on building reliable, scalable, and data-sensitive backend systems with direct real-world business impact.

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems that support critical stages of the customer and transaction lifecycle
• Develop and operate production-grade services with a strong emphasis on reliability, correctness, and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with product managers and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into well-architected technical solutions
• Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code; participate actively in code reviews and technical design discussions

• 5+ years of professional experience building and supporting backend systems in a production environment
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and modern .NET (.NET Core / .NET 8+ preferred)
• Experience designing, deploying, and operating services on a major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
• Experience building and supporting APIs, distributed systems, and data-driven applications
• Familiarity with relational databases and ORMs (e.g., SQL-based systems, Entity Framework or similar)

Base Salary: $140,000 – $160,000

Role is 100% remote, but candidates must be based in the U.S. and available to work Eastern Time (EST) business hours, with regular availability starting at 9:00am ET
