Associate - QA Automation Engineer

Location Designation: Hybrid - 3 days per week

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer position in the Purchase Experience QA team. The qualified individual will enhance the overall automation roadmap by collaborating with other QA automation engineers and end‑to‑end testers. They will work with other test leads and the COE team to optimize testing and improve software quality for the overall organization. The automation engineer will ensure standards and guidelines set forth by the QA CoE are followed while aiding the Manager in establishing a baseline of QA team performance, monitoring overall delivery metrics and ensuring continual improvement year over year.

• Providing technical expertise to the automation test team in design, development & maintenance of the automation framework.
• Ownership of preparing test automation solutions, designing automation frameworks and leading the implementation of test strategy, test plans, and test execution of the product.
• Create test estimates and define/build reusable testing assets for large/complex projects.
• Develop and implement test automation frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and support the creation of complex tests.
• Advise the customer on innovative testing products and solutions.
• UI and API level test automation expertise.
• High knowledge and mastery of current testing tools & techniques.
• Support automation script development and optimization.
• Recommend new tools, techniques and methodologies to enhance productivity and quality.
• Collaborate with product/business teams with NYL to strategize & align long‑term solutions for test automation including roadmap, tools, framework & approach.
• Detail‑oriented, technology‑focused, and possess excellent communication skills.

• BS in Computer Science/Engineering preferred but not required if someone has adequate work experience and the skills for the role.
• Extensive knowledge & experience in automating applications in Cloud, Distributed, Mainframe and highly integrated complex environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript.
• Expertise in automation frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium.
• Expertise with test automation tools/frameworks such as Mabl, Selenium/Web Driver, UiPath, Cucumber, BDD/TDD frameworks.
• Good knowledge of databases – Oracle, Postgres, SQL queries would be preferable.
• Experience with web service technology like XML, REST, SOAP, XML validations.
• Experience building/developing CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience developing test frameworks and test cases using open‑source & in‑house test frameworks is preferred.

Salary Range: $81,000 – $115,500

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to an individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
