Senior Software Engineer (Agentic AI) — Healthcare | NYC Hybrid (3 days onsite)

, they’re scaling and hiring an early senior engineer to shape architecture and ship core systems.

• Build autonomous agents that run multi-step pharmacy workflows end-to-end
• Design orchestration for long-running tasks + human-in-the-loop escalation
• Integrate with external pharmacy systems/APIs + healthcare data standards
• Own evaluation + observability for agent reliability in production
• Scale backend systems for real-time processing across pharmacy networks

• 5+ years backend engineering (Python or Type Script)
• Strong API + distributed systems fundamentals (concurrency, data stores, reliability)
• Experience with FastAPI/Flask (or similar), cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Familiar with Redis/Kafka + SQL/No
  
  SQL (vector DBs a plus)
• Shipped agentic AI systems (tool use, planning, memory/orchestration)
• NYC-based; able to commute to Manhattan 3 days/week
• $150k–$250k base + equity
