Senior Software Engineer

The Broker Dealer organization is the core of our platform. On a busy day, we securely move millions of dollars through our system and ensure each transaction flows through a complex series of risk checks to maintain strict regulatory compliance. Every ounce of efficiency and intelligence we build into this system translates into more value for our customers.

We’re looking for engineers to help answer some of our most challenging backend scaling, software design, and optimization questions. As a Senior Engineer within the Broker Dealer organization, you'll balance on-time delivery of new platform features with system stability and scalability — while mentoring and helping grow a team of talented engineers.

This role is based in our NYC office. For NYC-based roles, we require in-office attendance Monday through Thursday, weekly.

Below is the base salary range for this position. Actual compensation may vary depending on location, experience, and performance. The range listed is one component of the total compensation package.

New York City: $175,000 – $215,000

• 5+ years of professional experience in at least one object-oriented language
• Familiarity with writing Java code
• 5+ years of professional experience with SQL and relational databases, including schema design and complex query writing
• Strong command of fundamental algorithms and data structures
• Experience designing, building, scaling, and maintaining core backend software components
• Proven ability to lead cross-team projects, balancing tradeoffs to ensure on-time delivery while maintaining high standards of quality, performance, and security
