Founding Full Stack Engineer

Note:
This role is in-person in our NYC HQ 4-5 days/week, with a March start date.

We are hiring a full-stack engineer to join our engineering team! You'll be on a team of five engineers by the end of the quarter and we will lean heavily on AI tools to ship a lot of product. Please apply sooner rather than later as we're reviewing apps as soon as they come in!

We've just raised the biggest round in the space (led by Bessemer), have a quickly growing base of very excited customers, and a substantial product roadmap ahead of us to build.

You’ll work directly with the founders and engineering team
, and will be responsible for turning product specs and PRDs into high-velocity shipping. Depending on the candidate, this role can evolve into engineering leadership roles quickly.

• Work with the full codebase - backend, frontend, integrations, and AI systems
• Rapidly shipping features that make our product truly AI-native (chat-first UX, voice, agentic workflows)
• Architecting and scaling the platform as we expand into the full hotel operating system
• Build a lean, high-performance engineering team over time

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or equivalent rigorous CS background)
• At least 2 years building & owning full-stack web apps end-to-end
• Prior startup / founding engineer experience a strong plus
• Someone who takes a PRD or business problem and runs with it, delivering high-quality solutions without micromanagement or very granular requirements
• Scrappy, resourceful, proactive, and enjoys having autonomy & technical agency
• Passionate about using the latest AI dev tools
• Strong written & verbal communicator — can articulate technical decisions and tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders

• Ability to own integrations

• Curiosity or personal experience building agentic systems

• Building AI-native products in real production environments
• Experience at a fast-growing startup - ship-fast culture, low bug tolerance, nobody to check your work, etc.
• Front-end abilities to independently ship full-stack features/products
