The Director, Engineering, is a thought-leader as well as a seasoned builder of scalable end-to-end products. They are an engineer by trade with the strong ability to build. The position requires a candidate who is comfortable pushing the boundaries in an ever-changing environment and is comfortable in an ultra-fast paced environment, using AI and prompting to yield engineering results without much Product Specs.

• Candidate will lead the engineering for Connected Media product suite partnering with the Head of Product to drive toward unique, differentiated brand products to powering our teams.
• Candidate will be responsible for building, enforcing, and implementing best-in-class processes and infrastructure to manage engineering related IP, such as diagrams, code and documentation. They will own the end-to-end lifecycle of the code development process for Connected Media team including CI/CD systems to deploy stable, consistent software in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidate will handle hands-on delivery in the Connected Media suite under fast-paced conditions. Responsibilities include inventing the product, engineering, coordinating key collaborators, and maintaining product focus.
• Candidate will be responsible for supporting the other Connected Media team and Publicis internal organizations on developing new first-to-market programs and end-to-end product solutions.
• Candidate will be responsible for authoring Groupe-wide POVs on the space and what new technologies, ideas, and opportunities we need to be aware of and how this can impact a client’s business.
• Candidate must have, and continue to develop, strong relationships with the tech, mobile and social vendor community (content creators, business development and marketing specialists) to drive innovation, exclusivity, and efficiency.

• Candidate will be responsible for working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse group of individuals, client accounts, vendors/partners and as a liaison between buying, planning, the creative and engineering community.
• Candidate will work on a variety of projects at one time acting as lead and serving as a supporting player on other team projects.
• Candidate will thrive in an ever-changing marketing and media environment where Connected Media team pushes vendor partners to define and innovate the platform ahead of competition.

• Inherent passion and a practical experience using products development and the latest in AI and frameworks.
• A deep demonstrable knowledge of how to engineer, code, test and document for products at scale in a fast-past environment.
• End-to-End full stack development experience with a strong emphasis on having deployed software.
• A keen sense of evolving digital, mobile and social technology with an entrepreneurial approach to collaborating and working with a variety of partners.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client, internal, and vendor relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to keep the ball moving during project/product management and execution of content.
• Natural leadership ability and skills to build and maintain strong internal camaraderie.
