Founding Engineer

Insight Funders is an AI-powered private credit marketplace, connecting startups and high-growth companies with non-dilutive capital, while providing investors with pre-qualified, high-yield opportunities. We leverage AI-driven underwriting to make financing faster, data-driven, and efficient.

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with a strong focus on web development to build and enhance the AI-powered lending platform at Insight Funders. You will work on designing scalable web applications, improving user experience, and ensuring seamless frontend and backend integration. This role requires a passion for fintech, a strong understanding of financial data systems, and expertise in modern web technologies.

Develop and maintain a responsive, high-performance web application for the AI-powered private credit marketplace.

Build APIs and microservices to connect the frontend with AI models and financial data sources.

Optimize UX/UI for borrower and lender interactions, ensuring intuitive and seamless workflows.

Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate AI-powered underwriting, risk assessments, and financial analytics.

Ensure system security and compliance, handling sensitive financial data securely.

Deploy and manage scalable applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

Improve application performance and ensure a smooth user experience.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3-6+ years of experience in full-stack web development, preferably in fintech, AI, or SaaS.

Experience working with financial platforms, credit underwriting, or lending applications is a plus.

Backend:

Experience with Node.js, Python (Django/FastAPI), or Ruby on Rails.

Databases: Strong experience with Postgre

SQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.

Cloud & Dev Ops: Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure and CI/CD pipelines.

APIs & Microservices: Experience in designing and integrating RESTful & Graph

QL APIs.

Security & Compliance: Understanding of data security best practices, especially for financial applications.
