As a Software Engineer on the Detection and Response team, you'll play a crucial role in protecting the security and privacy of Robinhood and its customers. You will be responsible for building scalable systems for rapid detection, response, and containment of cybersecurity threats. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions that integrate detection data sources into the development lifecycle.

• Build scalable systems and components, balancing stability and maintainability.
• Design, write, test, and release critical technical solutions with high engineering rigor.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams on large‑scope technical projects.
• Mentor junior developers and lead complex projects.
• Improve system performance and team efficiency, and minimize risks.

• 5+ years of software development experience in a fast‑paced environment.
• 3+ years of experience writing low latency, large‑scale distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Go or Python, with strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.
• Experience building and operating high‑scale, distributed systems across the full software lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience mentoring junior developers and leading technical initiatives.
