These markets are very sensitive to global events, which leads to an incredibly dynamic and interesting set of business activities and projects. GCEM is a key source of revenue for the Global Banking and Markets division, and for the firm in general.

• Develop software that
  • Enable our clients to transact electronically to increase the scale of our business.
  • Leverage GS AI tools to create insights and trend analysis for our salespeople and traders to find new opportunities.
  • Assist traders in managing their financial risk in real time.
  • Enable our business to create and trade new financial products.
• Collaborate with business users, operational teams, and other engineering teams to develop innovative solutions and will be responsible for building and maintaining reliable and scalable systems.
• Participate in the entire software development life cycle from gathering requirements, designing technical solutions, software implementation, testing, production release through to post‑migration support.
• Work both independently and collaboratively within teams, demonstrating the ability to deliver individually, while also supporting group initiatives to achieve shared goals.

• Strong analytical skills and a passion for problem solving.
• Strong programming skills in OO languages such as Java or Python.

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States‑based position is $115,000-$180,000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year‑end.
