Software Engineers at PDT are responsible for building and maintaining the technology that enables all parts of the trading life cycle, including trading systems, risk controls, and post-trade technologies.

- Significant experience programming in one or more of C++, Python, or Java.
- Experience working directly with users or clients, capturing requirements, and scoping projects.
- Ability to participate in designing complex software systems and selecting pragmatic technologies to fit business objectives.
- Experience with trading systems, financial data, low-latency systems, or roles related to data science or research is a plus.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science.
Compensation:The salary range for this role is between $160,000 and $200,000.
This range does not include potential bonuses. Factors influencing the final salary include experience, education, skill set, and other external factors.
