Develop, document, test, debug, and maintain software product applications while applying secure software engineering best practices. Collaborate effectively with team members to deliver on the backlog.

• Participate in discussions and implementation around complex capabilities.
• Develop complex features to enhance Early Warning core product offerings.
• Manage source code using Git.
• Review, receive, and approve pull requests ensuring high code quality.

• Work on complex RESTful Web Services using Spring Boot.
• Document complex details and decisions in Confluence and track sprint work in Jira.
• Build automated tests integrated into the CI/CD pipeline and provide recommendations.
• Triage complex bugs that may arise during development.
• Support the company’s risk management commitments and protect system integrity and confidentiality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by a supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of direct experience in software engineering or related roles.
• Proficiency with Git source control and Git flow branching model.
• Experience with Spring or Spring Boot framework.
• Familiarity with modern Dev Ops practices.
• Experience writing automated tests.
• Proficiency with SQLli>
• Proficiency in RESTful service design.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with Kafka.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Background and drug screen.

• Additional related education or work experience.

• New York, NY / San Francisco, CA: $142,000 – $183,000 per year.

Work is primarily sedentary and involves extended computer use. It may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling, and reaching, and the ability to lift 15 pounds occasionally. Visual acuity and dexterity are required to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment.
