We’re building a new kind of mobile network with a simple but ambitious mission: help people spend less time on their phones while paying less for wireless. This well‑funded seed‑stage startup has raised $10M+ and is led by a very well‑known founder who is extremely hands‑on and in the office daily. The company launched in 2025 and is already growing at an exceptional pace, with a realistic path similar to Mint Mobile’s trajectory.

The core product offers unlimited service on the T‑Mobile network, plus cash back when users consume less data, with privacy and mental wellbeing as first‑class principles – no data selling, transparent pricing, and a simple $50/month single‑line plan. The broader vision blends telecom with finance, investing, rewards, and behavioral incentives, aiming to create a gamified consumer platform that goes beyond a typical mobile carrier.

As a Founding Full‑Stack or Backend Engineer, you will report directly to the CTO and work closely with a small group of senior engineers. You’ll help design and build core systems from the ground up while owning features end to end.

You will:

• Build, test, deploy, and own critical features across web and backend systems, with some mobile exposure in React Native if interested – not required.
• Work on systems like billing, finance, rewards, gamification, and internal tooling.
• Help scale the platform for nationwide adoption while maintaining reliability and performance.
• Collaborate closely on product roadmap, experimentation, analytics, and live operations.
• Shape technical architecture, tooling decisions, and engineering culture from day one.

• Frontend (Web):
  React (Type Script), Next.js, Tailwind CSS (shadcn/ui), Vercel.
• React Native, Expo.
• AWS (Elastic Beanstalk).

• 5+ years of experience building modern full‑stack or backend‑heavy applications.
• Strong experience designing scalable backend services, APIs, and databases.
• Comfort owning ambiguous problems and shipping production systems.
• Clear communicator who thrives in small, fast‑moving teams.
• Excited by 0→1 work and meaningful product ownership.

• Experience at fast‑growing startups or shipping early‑stage products.
• Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Dev Ops best practices.
• Interest in fintech, telecom, or consumer subscription products.
• Passion for building technology that puts people first.
