Job DescriptionThe Content Technology Engineering - Studio Engineering team builds high-quality applications, automation services, and integrations to power the productivity of Enterprise Creators a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design of content creation systems and integrating with industry leading technologies that empower Linked In to create world-class content will directly impact our Content Development products, including Editorial and News where you will act as the line of business lead, as well as the Linked In Learning product.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a Linked In office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
Responsibilities:
You are expected to be the primary engineering contact for the Editorial team, learning their workflows and recommending optimizations in partnership with Engineering and Product management.
You will evaluate and integrate cutting-edge AI Content Creation services into Linked In’s enterprise ecosystem, focusing on delivering improvements to time-to-market and lowering our overall cost to create content.
You are expected to produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
You will design, develop, and integrate cutting-edge media technologies. Act as primary management interface and escalation for all product system related issues.
You are expected to provide mentorship and invest in organizational activities such as hiring committees.
You will participate in a 12x7 oncall rotation with other members of the US-based team.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
- BS (or higher, e.g., MS, or PhD) in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience.
- 2+ years of industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS and 5+ years of relevant work experience, MS and 4+ years of relevant work experience, or PhD and 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in designing and building infrastructure and web services at large scale.
- Expert knowledge of computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Experience building web applications and services with IDEs, ant, junit, etc.
- Experience with relational databases (transactional and non-transactional), database architecture, and distributed transaction management.

Linked In is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $125,000 - $206,000. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
