Responsibilities
- Participating in the analysis, design and development of client/server web applications
- Developing client/server applications with a service-based backend
- Developing pixel-perfect components from design comps
- 5+ years experience with client-side development
- Superior knowledge of front-end coding technologies including HTML/XHTML, HTML5, CSS3 JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, JSON, DOM Scripting
- Solid understanding of web best practices and standards and fully embrace Web Standards
- Thorough knowledge of performance optimization techniques to speed up the sites
- Strong command of cross-browser development techniques and browser degradation strategies
- Excellent knowledge of all of the on-page SEO and accessibility techniques and tools
- Experience with highly-scalable, consumer facing applications a must
- Ability to maintain focus while shifting between technologies/platforms
- Candidate must be able and willing to work within a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with RESTful APIs, web services
- Experience with IDEs such as Eclipse, Flash Builder or similar
- Knowledge of compiling with the ANT or Maven a plus
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Good understanding of object-oriented principles and design
- Good customer focus and awareness of the importance of the customer in a service organization
- Experience with entertainment oriented business systems is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or equivalent experience
