Securities Lending Front Office Developer (Backfill role)

Location: New York City (2–3 days/week; local candidates, in‑person interview final round)

Visa: USC/GC, H4 EAD

Required years of experience: 10+ years

Key skills: Java, Securities Lending, Lending Platform experience (e.g., FIS (Loanet/Loanex), Global One), BTCC, AI platforms (DL4J), Murex.

Essentially a front‑office developer working closely with traders.

• Hands‑on Java experience in the Securities Lending development space.
• In‑depth knowledge of Securities Lending platforms such as FIS (Loanet/Loanex) or Global One.
• Experience with mission‑critical trading platforms (Order/Stock Loan/Market Data Systems).
• BTCC experience.
• Direct collaboration with trading desks, quants, and risk teams.
• Expertise in Dev Sec Ops  tools and methodologies (Jenkins, Ansible, Puppet Labs, Sonar Qube, Tenable, Invicti, Zero Networks).
• Experience in development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.
• Solid understanding of back‑end and front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of Java development experience, ideally in capital markets/financial services.
• Experience with Spring, Hibernate, Kafka, Rabbit
  
  MQ, and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake).
• Proficiency with Git and Agile development.
• Strong multi‑tasking, organizational, and communication skills.

• Experience with AI/ML.
• Familiarity with log observability tools (Elastic Search/Kibana/Splunk stack).
• Knowledge of pricing models, quantitative analysis, and P&L calculations.
• Experience with leading industry platforms (Quod, Flex Trade, Charles River Trader, Nuvo prime, Murex).
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of regulatory, risk, compliance and audit controls in the Securities Lending space.
