Over the past year, Gov Eagle has built strong product-market fit and a customer base that loves us. Using Gov Eagle's AI agents, our government contracting customers have drastically cut down the time they spend on RFPs while winning more awards.

To continue this momentum, we’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to take ownership of the Gov Eagle user experience. You’ll lead development across our React/Next.js frontend, work closely with our designer to bring new interfaces to life, and shape the workflows that define how customers interact with our platform every day. This role is deeply product-focused, highly visible, and central to how Gov Eagle continues to scale.

This role is in-person in New York City, 5 days per week
, to maximize collaboration and speed.

• Owning the frontend of the Gov Eagle platform end to end — architecture, components, performance, and polish.
• Working closely with our designer to translate product ideas and UI specs into high-quality, production‑ready interfaces.
• Integrating with backend APIs and LLM‑powered functionality in collaboration with our backend engineers.
• Improving UI consistency, responsiveness, accessibility, and maintainability.
• Contributing to our design system and shaping a scalable component library.
• Meeting with customers to understand what’s important to them.

• 3+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in React, Next.js, Typescript, and modern frontend patterns.
• Strong product sense and sense of craft.
• Fast learner who can quickly grasp the intricacies of government contracting.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and building from zero.
• U.S. citizen able to discuss controlled, export‑restricted workflows with customers.
• Excited to work 5 days in person in our NYC Office (Herald Square).

• Experience developing Microsoft Office add‑ins (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or building browser extensions.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Gov Cloud environments, or secure deployments.
