As a Senior Software Engineer at Farther, you'll solve real business problems across our entire stack. You'll understand business objectives, ideate solutions, and deliver end‑to‑end.

We're building an elite engineering team. We look for three things: deep technical expertise in your craft, high horsepower to rapidly context‑switch across complex problems, and a track record of winning in multiple areas of your life.

• 6+ years of software engineering experience working across the full stack.
• Fluency with AI coding tools – you should already be using them to multiply output and seek ways to work smarter.
• Self‑directed and autonomous – you thrive with ownership, work independently on high‑level guidance, and prefer results over rigid process.
• Product‑focused mindset – code exists to solve business problems, not for its own sake.
• Outstanding communication – you explain complex concepts clearly and provide actionable updates.
• Builder mentality – you ship working software and iterate, not write specs endlessly.
• Tenacity to tackle difficult problems head‑on.
• Track record of winning in multiple areas of your life.

• Experience building financial services, trading systems, or wealth management platforms.
• Background in high‑availability system design and real‑time data processing.
• Experience with event‑driven architectures.
