• 7+ years of hands‑on experience with Core Java and Spring Boot
• 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Angular or React
• Hands‑on experience with relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, UDB, DB2, or No
  
  SQL)
• Strong hands‑on experience with Microservices, Kafka, and REST API development
• Hands‑on experience with containerization technologies:
  Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience modernizing/re‑writing legacy applications to modern distributed platforms
• Experience in the Core Banking or Financial/Wealth Management domain

• Python experience
• Machine Learning exposure
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure
• Experience in Dev Ops CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Team City)

• Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.
• Is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge in research, design, development and maintenance.
• Exercises original thought and judgment and can supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
• Builds skills and expertise in the software engineering discipline to meet standard expectations for the role, as defined in Professional Communities.
• Collaborates and acts as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
