We are seeking a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer on our Ads Engineering team, empowering groundbreaking mobile advertising technologies to create the next generation of our Publisher Ads Platform, designing and delivering scalable solutions across both frontend and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack features from concept to production.
• Translate product requirements into technical specifications, architectural decisions, and high‑quality implementations.
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and observability via monitoring and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers.
• Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and team retrospectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Skills to Create Thrills

• Experience in backend development.
• Strong Java and SQL backend expertise, with a track record of building reliable and scalable APIs and services.
• Experience in designing cohesive full‑stack architectures that integrate frontend and backend systems seamlessly.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Gradle, or similar.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and related infrastructure components.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, or a related technical field, plus 8+ years of relevant professional experience (12+ years total).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Java 8+ features and ecosystem.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS, LESS, or CSS Modules.
• Background in test‑driven development and working in UNIX‑based environments.
• Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of web protocols, application servers, and web server configurations.
• Passion for performance optimization, maintainability, and long‑term scalability.
