Founding Engineer

We're building AI-powered software that solves critical back-office workflow challenges for restaurants, starting with allergen menu compliance. Our mission: eliminate tedious manual back office tasks so restaurants can focus on what they care about the most - making their customers happy.

As our Founding Engineer, you'll build our core platform from the ground up. You'll own technical decisions, architecture, and implementation while working directly with the founder to shape our product roadmap.

What you'll do:

• Enhance our AI-powered allergen extraction system that processes supplier documentation
• Optimize our restaurant dashboard that currently manages menu data for multiple locations
• Expand our integrations with restaurant POS and inventory systems
• Scale our infrastructure to support rapid customer growth
• Lead development of new modules in our restaurant workflow platform

Who we're looking for:

• Full‑stack engineer with 3+ years of experience building production software
• Familiarity with modern AI/ML tools and APIs to enhance our extraction capabilities
• Strong problem-solver who can optimize systems for performance and reliability
• Bias toward shipping quickly and iterating based on customer feedback
• Experience with restaurant tech is a bonus but not required
