Senior Frontend Engineer (Web-based 3D)

Location: Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid – 4 days/week on-site)

Compensation: $170k–$220k + competitive equity

We are a deep tech company building a cutting‑edge digital twin connectivity platform. We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Frontend Engineer passionate about 3D computer graphics and large‑scale, data‑rich enterprise applications. You’ll design and ship complex, production‑level user interfaces and visualizations that bring intricate systems to life in the browser.

• Build and scale complex, interactive 3D web applications used by thousands of real‑world users
• Collaborate with design and backend teams to create highly interactive tools for enterprise clients
• Lead development of 3D visualizations using WebGL, WebGPU, Three.js, and React Three Fiber
• Implement complex state management for large datasets with intricate relationships
• Contribute to a strong engineering culture that values ownership, collaboration, and innovation

• 5+ years of hands‑on frontend engineering experience, with 3D as the core product (not just a feature)
• Proven experience delivering large‑scale, production‑ready web‑based 3D applications
• Proficiency with React, Type Script, JavaScript, Graph
  
  QL, Apollo, and modern frontend tooling
• Expertise in WebGL, Three.js, React Three Fiber, and/or WebGPU
• Strong computer science fundamentals (CS degree or equivalent deep engineering background)
• Experience in web‑based gaming, AR/VR, Digital Twin, or computational design preferred
• Startup experience and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
