About the RoleWe’re looking for talented engineers who thrive on working on complex problems and solving them through building reliable and easy‑to‑use features. You’ll work across the frontend stack, API ingestion, data representations, complex proprietary data visualization, and agentic UI workflows.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll partner with engineers and our CTO to design and implement core systems spanning multiple clouds. If you enjoy solving ambiguous data problems by building the backbone of a modern SaaS platform, this role is for you.
What You’ll Do- Architect, develop, and maintain user‑facing features using Svelte Kit
, Svelte 5,
Type Script , and Tailwind CSS
. - Implement scalable, maintainable component structures and frontend architecture.
- Build responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces optimized for clarity and consistency.
- Collaborate with product and backend engineering to refine specifications, workflows, and API contracts.
- Implement robust error handling, boundary states, and loading strategies.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, documentation, linting, and testing.
- Contribute to frontend performance optimization and observability.
- 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency with Svelte
, Svelte Kit
, or equivalent modern frameworks. - Advanced proficiency with Tailwind CSS for building scalable and consistent UIs.
- Strong understanding of interaction patterns, layout systems, accessibility, and responsive UI.
- Hands‑on experience with modern build tools (Vite, ES modules, bundlers, Bun).
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests (unit or integration).
- Experience developing good UX focused on self‑serving applications to encourage product‑led growth.
- Experience in a fast‑paced and frequent code deployment environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a disciplined, documentation‑first mindset.
- Strong technical judgment and ability to make informed tradeoffs in an evolving product environment.
- Experience with Playwright for end‑to‑end testing.
- Familiarity with component library architecture or design system engineering.
- Experience optimizing frontend performance at scale.
- Exposure to complex, data‑dense interfaces or enterprise‑grade web applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Git Hub Actions or similar).
Hybrid role based in New York City, with an office in Dumbo, Brooklyn.
