Software Engineer; Trading Systems

Overview

You will join a collaborative team, working closely with quantitative researchers and traders in enhancing all aspects of our trading system – data acquisition & validation, integration of quantitative models into our trading infrastructure, post-trade workflows and risk reporting. You will work closely with senior members of the team who will provide mentorship and training. You will collaborate with other teams in the firm to support the firm’s business objectives.

You will join a team that is open to using new frameworks and architectures to evolve the technology stack.

• Collaborate with data acquisition & validation, integration of quantitative models into trading infrastructure, post-trade workflows and risk reporting to enhance the trading system.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Engineering or Mathematical field (Computer Science)
• Three to five years of software development experience
• Proficiency in C++, Rust, and familiarity with Python
• Familiar with messaging protocols (Rabbit
  
  MQ, Kafka), Web Sockets, AWS
• Familiar with SQL and have a strong foundation in relational database concepts
• Familiar with financial data APIs and databases (Onetick/Kdb)
• Experience working in a Unix environment
• Track record of utilizing industry standard tools and best practices for design, development, configuration management and implementation
• Strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex technical problems
• Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills
