We are looking for a Senior Android SDK Developer to join our Ads SDK team, where you will be at the core of developing the Unity Ads SDK, enabling game publishers worldwide to seamlessly integrate monetization features into their games. You will collaborate with the Level Play Mediation team, Product Managers and Designers to prototype, architect, and deploy an Android SDK that’s powerful, reliable, and developer-friendly.

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of the Unity Ads Android SDK, ensuring seamless integration and a best-in-class experience for Unity’s game developers.
• Collaborate with Frontend, Backend, iOS, and Unity Editor Developers, as well as product and design teams, to define and implement robust, scalable SDK solutions that meet the evolving needs of game publishers.
• Champion best-in-class development practices, conducting thorough code reviews and performance optimizations to ensure stability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Set technical standards, mentor team members, and foster adoption of modern development methodologies to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and innovation across the SDK team.

• Proven experience in building Android SDKs or applications with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and API design.
• Proficiency in Java or Kotlin with expertise in modern Android development practices.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, concurrency, and performance tuning in Android.
• Strong background in integrating and communicating with backend APIs.
• Track record of delivering SDKs or complex Android applications from concept to production.
• Deep understanding of SDK architecture, modularization, and API design on Android.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a keen desire to nurture the ‘in it together’ collaborative spirit.

• Experience developing frameworks/libraries on the Android platform
• Familiarity with AdTech or Gaming
• Experience with Unity Engine
• Code samples or personal projects on Github/Gitlab
