The Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) performs test strategy, design, planning and automation across test frameworks and tools. The role delivers quality and performance for large‑scale API, web, and mobile application interfaces, and focuses on continuous integration and delivery for our products. Candidates are experienced, hands‑on, and self‑motivated engineers capable of working collaboratively in a continuous integration environment.

• Implements an automated test structure in the CI/CD pipeline.
• Contributes to the development of automated component, system integration (E2E), regression, backward‑compatibility and performance tests through continuous integration.
• Executes automated and manual test suites and ensures overall system quality prior to production release.
• Reports defects and issues to development teams and manages defects through to resolution.
• Creates software test artifacts including test strategy, test plans, test cases and test summary reports.
• Continually seeks opportunities to improve, optimise and simplify existing testing processes and methodologies.
• Works together with relevant teams and departments to improve product quality.
• Provides training, mentorship and support to quality engineering team members, focusing on systems, policies, procedures and core quality processes.
• Supports the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting system and data integrity and confidentiality.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years experience developing software or test automation frameworks using at least two of Java, Ruby, Node.js or Objective‑C (Java preferred).
• Prior experience with established development and monitoring tools (Git Lab, GIT, Eclipse/Android Studio/X‑Code, Bamboo, Harness, Splunk, App Dynamics).
• Experience with CI/CD and integrating automated testing.
• Experience implementing test automation frameworks for API, web or mobile platforms (hybrid, iOS or Android) using tools such as Appium, Selenium, Web Driver, Rest‑Assured API and Cucumber.
• AWS or other cloud experience.
• Kubernetes experience.
• Background and drug screen.

• Additional related education and/or experience.
• Mobile programming (Android or iOS/Swift) experience.
• Experience with device cloud providers:
  Browser Stack, Perfecto Mobile, Device Anywhere, Amazon Device Farm.
• Experience building and executing automated and performance tests for REST and XML/SOAP/JSON services.
• Experience testing system/server‑level software, networking (sockets) and protocols: HTTP, SIP, Rest Services.
• Knowledge of performance/​load testing.
• Experience with Agile/Lean methodologies.

Work is primarily sedentary in a normal office setting, with extensive use of a computer and sitting periods of approximately four hours. Occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching may be required. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to use office equipment.
