Our client is changing the way high-growth companies make financial decisions. They recently completed Series B funding from Sequoia and a16z. They are building a modern accounting platform purpose built to automate end-to-end accounting workflows, tying in CRM, billing, AP, payroll, etc., to be synced instantaneously on their platform, reducing manual input by 93%. They are building a strong culture of passion, grit and excellence.

We’re looking for a software engineering manager to lead one of our client's product feature teams. You’ll join a growing engineering team and work closely with leadership, product, and design to build industry-defining accounting and finance software. This role will report directly to the CTO. This is a remote-first role with the option to work from one of our office hubs in New York City, San Francisco, or Barcelona.

• Help define the company's long-term technical vision and strategic direction.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and finance experts to shape the product, not just build it.
• Own and drive multiple product initiatives from planning through execution.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, reliable software.
• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supporting their growth and success.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new software engineers.
• Contribute hands-on to the codebase and technical development.

• 3+ years of experience as an engineering manager in product-driven tech companies.
• 5+ years in engineering.
• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong experience in one of the following languages:
  Kotlin, Java, or Type Script.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices.
• Passion for solving real user problems with practical, high-quality solutions.
