Our client (a world leading hedge fund) seeks a hands-on Database Infrastructure Engineer to join their Algo Trading Strategies and Technology department.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for architecting, deploying, and seamlessly integrating the database frameworks and automated solutions within Windows and Linux environments.
  • Collaborating with software developers and trading teams to enhance and expand applications and software related to database connectivity and functionality.
    • Requirements:
  • Degree in computer science or related engineering discipline required.
  • In-depth understanding of the intricacies of operating system architecture, principles of information security, and network protocols.
  • Extensive experience with Python, Java, C#.
  • Thorough expertise in at least one of the database platforms (Cassandra, SQL Server, Mongo

    DB, etc).
