Senior Software Engineer, Product and Platform

This role is an opportunity to shape the core of a modern cloud financial management platform used by engineering teams, finance leaders, and executives to understand and control infrastructure spend. You will join a small, highly capable product engineering group that moves quickly, owns outcomes end to end, and ships meaningful improvements to production on a regular cadence.

As a senior member of the engineering organization, you will play a central role in building and evolving a data driven product that sits at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, financial systems, and developer tooling. The work spans everything from customer facing reporting experiences to deep integrations with major cloud providers, billing systems, and internal data pipelines. You will have significant influence over technical direction, product shape, and how the team operates day to day.

• Designing and delivering new product capabilities across reporting, onboarding, billing, and provider integrations.
• Partnering closely with product, design, and leadership to explore problems, test ideas, and turn concepts into shipped features.
• Providing technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers, helping raise the quality and impact of the team.
• Making architectural decisions that balance speed today with scalability and reliability for the future.
• Owning features from initial idea through release, measurement, and iteration, with a strong focus on customer impact.
• Engaging directly with users alongside product and design to better understand real world workflows and pain points.

• A product minded engineer who cares deeply about building tools that customers genuinely enjoy using.
• Extensive professional experience in software development, including multiple years leading or guiding engineering teams.
• Comfort working across the stack, with interest in both frontend and backend systems.
• A preference for clear, maintainable solutions and a strong instinct for designs that will age well.
• A track record of owning complex projects and delivering systems that perform reliably at scale.
• An appetite for responsibility, fast iteration, and continuous improvement.
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails or similar web application frameworks.
• A bachelor level degree or equivalent practical experience.
• A collaborative, respectful teammate who values kindness and clear communication.

• Experience with monitoring, observability, or performance tooling.
• Hands on work deploying and operating systems on major cloud platforms.
• Background in data visualization, analytics, or financial software products.

The estimated annual base salary for candidates based in the United States typically falls between two hundred thousand and two hundred thirty thousand dollars, depending on experience, qualifications, and location. Total compensation may also include equity and a comprehensive benefits package, with support for retirement savings, health coverage, and ongoing learning and development.
