The Onsite Customer Growth team develops features that help Attentive’s customers drive growth directly on their websites. We deliver faster list growth through continuous investment in creative capabilities and the use of AI to optimize performance.

As a Senior Frontend Software Engineer, you’ll play a key role in shaping the user-facing experience of our onsite growth products. You’ll design and build performant, scalable, and accessible web interfaces that empower marketers to create high-converting experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to bring intuitive, high-impact solutions to life.

This hybrid role is based in our New York office, with in-office collaboration Tuesday through Thursday each week.

• Lead the design and development of user interfaces for Attentive’s onsite growth experiences
• Build reusable, scalable frontend components and systems using modern frameworks and tooling
• Partner with designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless, performant, and visually compelling user experiences
• Drive architectural discussions and make technical decisions that ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance
• Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and collaboration
• Identify opportunities for UI performance optimization and improved developer efficiency
• Contribute to frontend best practices and shared component libraries across the organization.

• 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development, ideally building large-scale, production web applications
• Expert in React, Type Script, JavaScript, and modern frontend build tools
• Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, and accessibility
• Experience integrating with backend APIs and working in micro-frontend or service-oriented environments
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) and CI/CD workflows
• A track record of technical leadership - driving decisions, mentoring peers, and improving frontend standards
• Curiosity, ownership, and a passion for delivering high-quality, user-focused software.

• Our infrastructure runs primarily in Kubernetes hosted in AWS’s EKS
• Infrastructure tooling includes Istio, Datadog, Terraform, Cloud Flare, and Helm
• Our backend is Java / Spring Boot microservices, built with Gradle, coupled with things like Dynamo
  
  DB, Air Flow, Postgres, and Redis, hosted via AWS
• Our frontend is built with React and Type Script, and uses best practices like Graph
  
  QL, Storybook, Radix UI, Vite, esbuild, and Playwright
• Our automation is driven by custom and open source machine learning models, lots of data and built with Python, Metaflow, Hugging Face, PyTorch, Tensor Flow, and Pandas
