The Head of Desk Development collaborates with business partners to create new tools and applications that streamline decision making, data availability, analytics, and client reporting. This role designs, codes, tests, and deploys enterprise software, and partners with technologists to build sustainable systems that enable rapid scale and exceptional functionality.

• Manage team‑building systems to support our warehouse lending businesses.
• Design, code, test, and deploy enterprise software and scripts to achieve business goals.
• Collaborate with business, project managers, and developers to enhance systems and processes.
• Implement reactive systems that can be integrated into our enterprise.

• 10+ years in technical roles within financial services.
• 5+ years leading software engineering teams.
• University degree in computer science, financial mathematics, or a related field.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Results‑oriented and commercially minded.
• Experience with object‑oriented programming.
• Expertise with relational databases and Python/Pandas.
• Proficiency in .NET and Microsoft technologies.
• Understanding of REST APIs and software design principles.
• Experience with fixed‑income analytics, mortgage analytics, or financial risk.
• Excel Power User.

• Experience with loan finance and credit markets.
• Understanding of statistics and machine learning.

$200,000 - $250,000

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and firm performance.
